Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church Patronal Feast Day

Our Catholic community in North Fond du Lac at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church will celebrate its Patronal Feast on Sunday, November 20, at the 10:00 am Mass with fellowship to follow in the church hall. While our Church celebrates the actual Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady on Monday, November 21, we will mark North Fond du Lac’s Patron by worshiping at Sunday Mass, commemorated that day as the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. Before heading downstairs for fellowship, Mass will conclude with Solemn Exposition, a period of Eucharistic Adoration, and Solemn Benediction, as well as a hymn to Our Lady. Please join us to worship and to thank the Lord for the gift of His Mother and for our Presentation Church.

First Saturday Traveling Rosary for Life

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee's First Saturday Traveling Rosary for Life will come to Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church on Saturday, November 5 at 8:00 am. The morning will begin with Mass, followed by Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, and the Rosary for Life from 8:30 to 9:30 am. On the first Saturday of every month, the Archdiocese works with different parishes to host a prayer service which may include Mass and/or Adoration but always includes the Rosary, asking the Blessed Virgin Mary to intercede with her son, Our Lord, for the continued protection of the unborn and support for mothers and fathers facing difficult pregnancies. All are welcome to attend.

God Is Near Us: The Eucharist, The Heart of Life

“In the fundamental prayer of the Church, the Eucharist, the heart of our life is not merely expressed but is realized day after day. At the most profound level, the Eucharist has to do with Christ alone. He prays for us; he puts his prayer on our lips, for only he can say: This is my Body – This is my Blood” (119.) Such words from Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, written while yet Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, invite usto encounter the Lord who comes to meet us in reality. By taking Ratzinger as our teacher, we can find in his book - a collection of homilies, addresses, and articles–what is needed to live, to pray the Holy Mass and to worship the Eucharistic Heart of our Lord. The group will meet Saturdays, September 24-November 19 (excluding October 1 & 22) from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and Basement.
