The Holy Family Prayer Garden will be filled with fall fun when Oktoberfest returns on Saturday, September 28! Eat German and Hispanic fare, as you listen to the music of renowned band Dorf Kapelle, play games, try out our inflatable axe throwing and obstacle course, get a balloon animal, feed adorable farm animals, aim to win a prize in our basket raffle, and take a horse-drawn wagon ride! Oktoberfest begins with a bilingual Mass in English and German at 4:00 pm in Holy Family Church, with the festival kicking off at 5:00 pm. The menu for the event is set to include bratwursts, German potato salad, corn cocktails, nachos, desserts and delicious additions from Mr. & Mrs. Catering, as well as beer and Oktoberfest brews!  Admission is free, and food, drinks, and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Join Holy Family and St. Mary’s Springs Academy in celebrating those who make a difference in our Catholic community at our Cor Unum Awards! The Cor Unum Awards will take place on Wednesday, September 18 at Holy Family Church, and begin with hors d’oeuvres & drinks from 5:00 to 6:45 pm, followed by our Cor Unum Awards Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Meaning “one heart,” the Cor Unum Awards are a celebration of Holy Family Catholic Community and St. Mary’s Springs Academy’s common mission to foster the Catholic faith and spread it from one generation to the next, as well of all those who help us work towards this vital aim. The night will honor those who have served St. Mary’s Springs Academy, and those who have served Holy Family. We will also honor the recipient of our St. Catherine of Siena, Setting the World Ablaze Award for their support of both St. Mary’s Springs Academy and Holy Family. The cost is $30 per person. Come learn about Fr. Caspar Rehrl, who is credited with creating dozens of churches and schools in our area, as well as founding the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, when Fr. Jacob Strand offers a presentation on his life following the 4:00 pm Mass at Holy Family Church on Saturday, September 14. At this presentation, you will learn how over more than 36 years, Fr. Rehrl’s ministry came to stretch throughout the Winnebagoland and from Sheboygan to Slinger. A light dinner will follow the presentation in Holy Family Hall for a free will donation. Women of the parish are invited to join us for our Women's Ministry Kick-off! The night will begin at 5:40 pm with the Rosary, followed by Mass with Fr. Kevin Tanel at 6:00 pm. After, enjoy refreshments and a social in Holy Family Hall. Founder of Mount Moriah Ministries, Maria Notch, will offer a talk entitled “Like Mary, Always a Daughter,” with a short talk by Dawn Meyer on “Moments with Mary” to follow. ​ From July 17-21, people from throughout the United States will converge on Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress. Pilgrims from Holy Family will be traveling to Indianapolis to participate in this historic event, which our country has not seen since the 1970s. As they prepare for their travels, we invite you to join us for a send-off Mass at 9:00 pm at Holy Family Church on Tuesday, July 16. We hope you will attend.

High school students can give back and care for creation at our Holy Family High School Youth Group's Highway Cleanup Night! Students will help to clean up the highway around Holy Family Church from 6:45 to 8:00 pm. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
