The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.
In observance of Respect Life Month, Holy Family Catholic Community invites everyone to join in praying the Rachel Rosary at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 1 at Sacred Heart Church. The Rachel Rosary is a six-decade Rosary specially modified to emphasize prayer for victims of abortion and post-abortion syndrome

All police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, emergency dispatchers, and EMS personnel are invited to attend Holy Family Catholic Community's Blue Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 13 at Holy Family Church. The Mass will honor all those who serve and protect our community in the public safety field and pray for their future protection. Those who attend are encouraged to wear their uniforms and have a flag representing their agency in the Gathering Space. People of all faiths are welcome! A social with refreshments will follow.

On Thursday, October 24, celebrate the newly renovated Holy Family Warming Shelter and our mission to care for those in need at our Grand Unveiling! Beginning at 3:30 pm, tour the shelter, 73 E. First St., as you enjoy light refreshments. At 5:30 pm, we will cut the ribbon on our facility and draw the winners of our 2024 Holy Family Warming Shelter Raffle! During the event, we will collect donations of new adult men’s and women’s socks and underwear to provide to our guests this season. All donations are appreciated!
On Sunday, October 27, Holy Family will welcome Michael James Mette for a free worship concert from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at Holy Family Church (please note the new time to accommodate the Packer game). Seeing a need in the Church for relevant music and joy-filled faith, Michael James Mette began traveling the United States sharing his music and speaking. His music stands at the intersection of the church and culture, drawing from pop and worship influences. Using technology, his concerts provide an immersive experience and invite those in attendance to have an encounter with the divine. He previously performed at Holy Family Church with his children as part of the band, MJM7. All are welcome to attend this concert. Free-will donations will be accepted.
