Quilters Group
Quilters Group
The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items. These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Dorothy, 921-5543, or Catherine, 539-0313 for pick up.

Every Tuesday at St. Mary Church, those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:30 to 5:30 pm - or until meals are gone. All who are in need are welcome. Marriage Encounter Experience
Uncover the secrets of a lasting, supportive, transformational marriage at the Marriage Encounter Experience, taking place Saturday, August 5-Sunday, August 6 at Sacred Heart School, 678 Western Avenue. This Marriage Encounter Experience helps couples listen, share, and connect more deeply. It's about helping couples learn to be the best, most loving, and thriving couple they can be. Those interested in participating can attend in person or virtually from their home. First Saturday Devotion
First Saturday Devotion
Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

Youth Group Summer Bonfire
Youth Group Summer Bonfire
All middle and high school students are invited to attend our Youth Group Summer Bonfire from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 10 at the Sacred Heart Victory Center, 678 Western Avenue. Fatima Presentation
In 1917, Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three children in Portugal, warning them of the impact of our sins on the world and God’s desire to save us from this. Learn more about her message at our Fatima presentation featuring Fr. Michael Malucha in Holy Family Hall from 5:30 to 6:15 pm on Monday, August 14. After the presentation, join us for our vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Holy Family Catholic Community will host “Grief Share,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. The group will meet Mondays, August 21-November 20 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room. Those interested in joining the group must register, but can join the program after the start date. To sign up, please email Mary Denzin at mdenzin@hffdl.org.

Back to School Concert
Back to School Concert
- Bring the whole family to the Holy Family Prayer Garden for our Back-to-School Concert featuring the Catholic Family Band MJMJ on Saturday, August 27 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. MJM7 is a Catholic family band comprised of Michael James Mette and his children: Charity (15), Cecilia (14), and MJ (12). The Mette's gifts of music, joy, and family life offer the boldness and innocence of youth with the wisdom and depth of lived experiences. The events fall somewhere between a rock concert and a parish mission, with vibrant lights, powerful music, faith sharing, and an invitation to prayer. This concert is free, but goodwill donations will be accepted! Please bring your own lawn chair. In the event of rain, the concert will take place in Holy Family Church. We are also looking for people to sign-up to bring two dozen, ready-to-serve and easy-to-eat, baked items, for the MJM7 music concert on Sunday, August 27.
