The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

Holy Family will host a brunch for young families in the Sacred Heart School Gymnasium, 678 Western Ave. following the 11:00 am Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Sunday, August 13. - Bring the whole family to the Holy Family Prayer Garden for our Back-to-School Concert featuring the Catholic Family Band MJMJ on Saturday, August 27 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. MJM7 is a Catholic family band comprised of Michael James Mette and his children: Charity (15), Cecilia (14), and MJ (12). The Mette's gifts of music, joy, and family life offer the boldness and innocence of youth with the wisdom and depth of lived experiences. The events fall somewhere between a rock concert and a parish mission, with vibrant lights, powerful music, faith sharing, and an invitation to prayer. This concert is free, but goodwill donations will be accepted! Please bring your own lawn chair. In the event of rain, the concert will take place in Holy Family Church. We are also looking for people to sign-up to bring two dozen, ready-to-serve and easy-to-eat, baked items, for the MJM7 music concert on Sunday, August 27.
