The procession with the Blessed Sacrament will begin in front of St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave., and end at Veterans Park on the corner of Main Street and Western Avenue. If you are unable to process, please join us at Veteran's Park at 2:30 for the Rosary, a brief reflection by Fr. Michael Malucha, and Benediction. In the event of inclement weather, the rally will take place at St. Mary's.

Learn how to extend this invitation to others at My Parish Matters, a training on sharing the Gospel with people you care about and inviting them into our parish community from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 10 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. Registration begins at 8:30 am.  The morning will be one of inspiration, practical training, and prayer. When you attend, you will be able to choose one of two tracks to learn from: The Parish Track: Training to make your parish a community where all are invited, welcomed, accompanied, and engaged in practically living our faith. Personal Track: Training to help your friends and family encounter Jesus & his Church and choose to follow as a disciple. The cost is $10 to attend. All police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, emergency dispatchers, and EMS personnel are invited to attend Holy Family Catholic Community's Blue Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 11 at Holy Family Church. The Mass will honor all those who serve and protect our community in the public safety field, and pray for their future protection. This Mass is celebrated annually throughout the United States in Catholic Churches for those employed in the public safety field. The color blue relates to the blue-colored uniforms predominately used by these services and were celebrated for the first time in the United States in 1934. Those who attend are encouraged to wear their uniforms and have a flag to representing their agency in the Gathering Space. A reception will follow with refreshments. 

Those who are widows are invited to come to Holy Family Hall from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13 to learn more about the parish's newly developing group for widows, Widows Reaching Widows. At this kick-off meeting, those who attend will discuss and plan for what the future of the group will look like. All those experiencing illness are invited to attend Holy Family Catholic Community's Anointing Mass at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 15 at Sacred Heart Church. The sacrament, which confers God's grace through the Holy Spirit on those who are ill, can be offered more than once if a person's condition has worsened or became ill once again. It is administered bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death.

  Join Holy Family Catholic Community for its Women's Ministry Kick-Off at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 15 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. The night will begin at 6:00 pm with Mass, followed by snacks and a social in the hall, and a talk from Anne Auger on "Beauty-full: The Gifts of Womanhood." Anne graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Masters Degree in 2003. She has worked extensively in both the Milwaukee and Madison dioceses in RCIA, Adult Catechesis, Youth Ministry and Religious Ed programs. The sister of Fr. John Paul Mitchell, Anne is a wife and mother of six children and serves as the Director of Religious Education for her parish in Sullivan, WI. She is an instructor at the Seat of Wisdom Institute in Madison and runs her own small business with over 500 customers. Anne has been a keynote speaker at many parishes and Catholic organizations. Celebrate the culture, faith, and food of our Hispanic community at Holy Family's Latin Flavor eventon Sunday, September 18! The event will begin at 10:00 am with a bilingual Spanish and English Mass at Holy Family Church. The festival will follow in the Prayer Garden from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm with traditional games, traditional music of the Mariachi Zamora, La Distancia de Villa, and DJ Estrella; a performance by the folkloric dance group from the Dance Academy of Mexico; joke, yelling, dance, and jalapeños eating contests; and food like tacos, tamales, popusas, arepas, Coctel de elotes/corn cocktail, nachos, burritos, aguas frescas/fruit coolers, and duritos/flour fritters with salsa and much more. ¡Celebre la cultura, la fe y la comida de nuestra comunidad hispana en el evento Latin Flavor de Holy Family el domingo 18 de septiembre! In preparation for the Feast of the Archangels on September 29, our seminarian, Redmond Tuttle, will offer a brief presentation on Angelology, the study of angels and demons, and the story of the three Archangels, Sts. Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel, at 11:00 am in Holy Family Hall. Come learn more about angels, their relationship with God, and why they matter to us!

Join us as we celebrate Paul Thelen's 40th anniversary of working in our parish with his 40th Anniversary Concert at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 25 at Holy Family Church. The concert will be a combination of sacred and secular music featuring the Holy Family Choirs, the Lighthouse Big Band, the Thelen Sisters, and organ solos by Paul Thelen.

All pets are welcome to come to Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church to receive a blessing following the 8:00 am Mass on Saturday, October 1! This blessing in honor of the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi will take place in the parking lot of the church.
