GriefShare

Holy Family Catholic Church 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United States

Beginning July 11, Holy Family Catholic Community will host “GriefShare,” a weekly support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. As each of the 13 session are self-contained, participants can attend GriefShare at any point and do not have to attend in sequence. Neighbors in Faith Ice Cream Social

Neighbors in Faith assistants and participants, as well as those interested in volunteering with the program, are invited to our Ice Cream Social on July 14! We will celebrate our current participants as they share their experiences with anyone interested in joining. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up as well. The night will begin with Mass at 6:00 pm and the social will follow.

Taizé Candlelight Prayer Service

High schoolers, their families, and friends are invited to join us for our Taizé Candlelight Prayer Service on July 28. Taizé Services bring together Christians from all backgrounds to come together in worship and prayer. World Youth Day Informational Meeting

Please consider being a part of Holy Family’s Pilgrimage to World Youth Day, set for next summer,July 29 to August 7, 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal. Joining us as pilgrims to this international gathering ofCatholic young people, ages 18-35, will be other local parishes and young adult groups from theArchdiocese of Milwaukee, as well as the Holy Father, Pope Francis. The pilgrimage will also make astop for a day at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. The cost is $4,225 per person, and resources forfundraising will be made available. Fr. Michael Malucha will hold two initial meetings for additionalinformation on: Tuesday, August 30 at 7:00 pm in the Sacred Heart School Basement and Thursday,September 1 at 5:30 pm in the Parish Hall at Presentation before Cor Jesu. Pray for the Country: Eucharistic Procession and Rosary Rally

Join Holy Family Catholic Community at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 9 for a Eucharistic Procession and Rosary Rally dedicated to praying for the United States. The procession with the Blessed Sacrament will begin in front of St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave., and end at Veterans Park on the corner of Main Street and Western Avenue. If you are unable to process, please join us at Veteran's Park at 2:30 for the Rosary, a brief reflection by Fr. Michael Malucha, and Benediction. In the event of inclement weather, the rally will take place at St. Mary's.

Understanding the Scriptures

The class will be a survey of key texts from the Old and New Testaments. We will approach the text from more of an academic perspective using the historical theological methodology of the Quadriga, which are the four senses of Scripture taught by the Church Fathers. Class time will be a mixture of lecture on background information and interpretation-focused discussion. The Bible Timeline

In The Bible Timeline from Ascension Press: The Story of Salvation, presenter Jeff Cavins will show you how fourteen of the Bible’s narrative books tell the biblical story from beginning to end. CANCELLED: Jesus invites each of us into the adventure of an extraordinary life with Him. Learn how to extend this invitation to others at My Parish Matters, a training on sharing the Gospel with people you care about and inviting them into our parish community from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 10 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. Registration begins at 8:30 am.  The morning will be one of inspiration, practical training, and prayer. When you attend, you will be able to choose one of two tracks to learn from: The Parish Track: Training to make your parish a community where all are invited, welcomed, accompanied, and engaged in practically living our faith. Personal Track: Training to help your friends and family encounter Jesus & his Church and choose to follow as a disciple. The cost is $10 to attend.
