All women are invited to celebrate the beauty of their Catholic faith at the annual Women of Christ Conference on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Washington County Fair Park in West Bend. The theme of this year’s conference, “A Time for Fearless Faith,” encourages women to rely on Christ – His truth, His love, His mercy - during these challenging times. Speakers include: Fr. Volunteer Appreciation Packer Party

Volunteer Appreciation Packer Party We will host a Volunteer Appreciation Packer Party on Sunday, November 6 in the Holy Family Hall following the 10:00 am Mass. We want to celebrate all of the volunteers from all of our sites. If you are an Usher, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Cantor, Sacristan, Mass Sever, Choir member, serve on one of our many committees and commissions, mow grass, tend to flower beds, wash church linens, cut down trees and brush, volunteer making meals, volunteer with the Angel Tree program, host donut Sundays, volunteer at our festivals, help to clean the church, teach religious education, decorate the churches, lead a small group, or are part of any other volunteer activity in the parish, we want to celebrate you and your family! We will have pizza, snacks, and soda available and the Packer vs. Lions Game playing on the large wall screen in the hall. Door prizes will be drawn at half-time. GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays

Are you or someone you know grieving? To help you through the holidays, Holy Family will host GriefShare's Surviving the Holidays seminar from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 14 at Holy Family. The holiday season can be particularly difficult when you are grieving the death of a loved one. Grief Share's Surviving the Holidays seminar helps participants learn: how to deal with their emotions; what to do about traditions; how to survive social events; and how to find hope for the future. Our Catholic community in North Fond du Lac at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church will celebrate its Patronal Feast on Sunday, November 20, at the 10:00 am Mass with fellowship to follow in the church hall. While our Church celebrates the actual Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady on Monday, November 21, we will mark North Fond du Lac’s Patron by worshiping at Sunday Mass, commemorated that day as the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. Before heading downstairs for fellowship, Mass will conclude with Solemn Exposition, a period of Eucharistic Adoration, and Solemn Benediction, as well as a hymn to Our Lady. Please join us to worship and to thank the Lord for the gift of His Mother and for our Presentation Church.

Safe Environment Training

Anyone interested in volunteering for the parish is invited to participate in our Safe Environment Training for all volunteers on Monday, November 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Sacred Heart School, 678 Western Avenue.  Safe Environment Training is a one-time class for all adults age 18 and older that may want to volunteer for anything with minors. We encourage anyone who may at some point be interested in volunteering in the parish to become Safe Environment trained, especially parents who may want to volunteer with activities and programs their children are involved in such as Vacation Bible School, Christian Formation, and retreats. By taking this Archdiocese of Milwaukee-required training, you can have your certification ready for whenever a volunteer opportunity arises. Once you complete your training and a background check, you will need to be recertified every five years with a shorter review session that at this time can be completed online. 12 Hours of Reconciliation

As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, priests from throughout the Fond du Lac and Sheboygan area will offer 12 Hours of Reconciliation in both counties. People can have their confessions heard from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way and Tuesday, December 13 at St. Peter Claver Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan.
