Faith Builders Club for Kids

Kids of all ages, particularly those in grades pre-K through sixth, are invited to join us after the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church on the second Sunday of the month for the parish’s fun Faith Builders Club for Kids! Children will enjoy a short mini lesson about the Catholic faith, which will include a video and a craft, while parents enjoy refreshments in the Fireside Room. Topics for this year include: September 10 - Gospel of Matthew October 8 - St. Therese of Lisieux November 12 – Pope St. Peter December 10 – The Holy Family January 14 – Baptism of Jesus February 11 – Sacred Heart of Jesus March 10 – St. Patrick April 14 – Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help May 12 – The Holy Spirit

Grief Share

Are you struggling with grief? Holy Family will host “Grief Share,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. The group will meet Mondays, beginning January 15 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room. Screening of “Quo Vadis”

Love biblical epics? Come watch "Quo Vadis" and imagine what life for early Christians in Rome might have been like. Holy Family will offer a screening of the film on Monday, January 15 at Holy Family Hall, beginning promptly at 6:00 pm. The screening will include an intermission, as it is 2 hours, 54 minutes long. Watch the film to prepare for the Holy Family Monday night class “Epic: The Early Church,” beginning on January 29, or view as a one-time event! To sign up for the small group, please visit hffdl.org/sm.   Based on the novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz, "Quo Vadis" tells the love story of a young Christian woman named Lygia and a Roman patrician, Marcus Vinicius, set against the backdrop of the Roman empire under the rule of Emperor Nero.

Quilters Group

The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items.  These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Dorothy, 921-5543, or Catherine, 539-0313 for pick up.

All mom's and children are invited to join the Moms Group! Meeting on Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am in Holy Family Hall, the Moms Group is an informal gathering where moms can enjoy fellowship and children can play together.

Screening of “The Sound of Freedom”

January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. To bring awareness, even in the Fond du Lac County area, the Respect Life Committee will show the powerful movie "Sound of Freedom" on Thursday, January 18 at 2:00 pm and again at 6:00 pm at Holy Family Hall.   Those who attend the 2:00 pm screening will have the opportunity to hear a talk from ASTOP Sexual Abuse Center Executive Director Isabel Williston, Fond du Lac Area Women's Fund Executive Director Jolene Schatzinger, and Solutions Center Domestic Violence Child and Teen Program Coordinator Rachel Wichowski on human trafficking following the film.   At both screenings, Fr.
