Holy Family Quilters Group
Holy Family St. Mary Church 59 E. Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesThe Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items. These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Dorothy, 921-5543, or Catherine, 539-0313 for pick up.
Lenten Luncheon
Holy Family Hall 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesOn Tuesday, February 27, we invite you to join us and Archbishop Listecki for Catholic Charities’ Quad-Counties North Lenten Luncheon from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Holy Family Hall! The luncheon will celebrate Catholic Charities' mission of serving those in need, advocating for justice, and calling upon others to do the same. It will also honor as and Diane Thome, Fr. John Radetski, and Solutions Center as Treasures of the Church Awardees for their compassionate service to the organization. The cost to attend is $25 per person, or $150 for a table of six, and includes a simple lunch of soup and salad, as well as dessert, generously donated by Mr. and Mrs. Catering. St. Ambrose Men’s Group – That Man is You!
Holy Family Hall - North 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesYou are invited to join dozens of men every Wednesday morning from 5:30 to 7:00 am in the Holy Family North Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, for Men’s Group through April 10, 2024. The St. Ambrose Men’s Group hosts “That Man is You” every Wednesday. The morning includes a full breakfast, a video for the program at 6:00 am, and a small group discussion. That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! This year’s theme is “Worthy of the Call” and will focus on discovering and embracing the call to live a life worthy of the call you have received! No registration is required – you can join at any time! There is a cost of $10 for materials. Holy Family Catholic Church 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesJoin us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.
