All mom's and children are invited to join the Moms Group! Meeting on Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am in Holy Family Hall, the Moms Group is an informal gathering where moms can enjoy fellowship and children can play together.
Holy Family invites high school students to join them on their trip to the Steubenville-St. Paul Conference July 26-28. Steubenville-St. Paul is a weekend conference that evangelizes, equips and empowers high school youth to become radical, joyful disciples. There are 20 spots reserved which will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. The parish will host hold an informational meeting for the trip on Thursday, February 8 at 6:00 pm in the Sacred Heart School Basement. If you are interested in participating in the conference, please attend the meeting and fill out the interest form at https://form.jotform.com/acords/steubenville. Calling all middle and high school students! Join us throughout the month of February for our Holy Family Youth Group! Our Youth Group is a great way to meet people your age, have fun, and share your faith. This month, join us as we celebrate Mardi Gras & Valentine's Day, help others, and come together for a night of worship. Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff and volunteers we are going to move to three youth group activities per month. Please stay tuned for future announcements! Mary Jo Neumann’s Mobility & Balance Class will return this January! The class will take place Fridays beginning January 5 in the Sacred Heart School Gym from 9:00 to 9:40 am. The function of balance and mobility training is to help a person feel safe when moving from place to place. Participants should be able to walk without assistive devices, such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes recommend. Bring own water bottle. Kids of all ages, particularly those in grades pre-K through sixth, are invited to join us after the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church on the second Sunday of the month for the parish’s fun Faith Builders Club for Kids! Children will enjoy a short mini lesson about the Catholic faith, which will include a video and a craft, while parents enjoy refreshments in the Fireside Room. Topics for this year include: September 10 - Gospel of Matthew October 8 - St. Therese of Lisieux November 12 – Pope St. Peter December 10 – The Holy Family January 14 – Baptism of Jesus February 11 – Sacred Heart of Jesus March 10 – St. Patrick April 14 – Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help May 12 – The Holy Spirit
Are you struggling with grief? Holy Family will host “Grief Share,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. The group will meet Mondays, beginning January 15 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room.
