Holy Family Quilters Group

Holy Family St. Mary Church 59 E. Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, United States

The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items.  These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Dorothy, 920-238-0480, or Catherine, 920-539-0313 for pick up.

Exploring the Sunday Readings

This is a Bible Study for looking at the upcoming Sunday Readings. Each week will use the investigations and comments of bible scholars to learn the significant insights in each set of Sunday readings. We will further discuss and share how these readings apply to us and add enrichment to our lives. A great way to prepare for Sunday Mass! Group limited to six participants. Blessed Bites

Every Tuesday at St. Mary Church, those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:30 to 5:30 pm - or until meals are gone. Men’s Group – That Man is You!

Holy Family Catholic Church 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United States

You are invited to join dozens of men every Wednesday morning from 5:30 to 7:00 am in the Holy Family North Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, for Men’s Group January 8 to April 30, 2025.   The St. Ambrose Men’s Group hosts “That Man is You – Apostle of the New Springtime” every Wednesday. The morning includes a full breakfast, a video for the program at 6:00 am, and a small group discussion.   That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!   No registration is required – you can join at any time! Celebrate the good work of our parish at Celebrate Holy Family Gala For information on the online Silent Auction, please click here. Celebrate 25 years of Holy Family Catholic Community and the good work you make possible at our Celebrate Holy Family Gala on Wednesday, April 23 at Holy Family Church. This wonderful event will begin at 5:30 pm, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a wonderful gourmet dinner catered by Chef Jack’s, Wisconsin’s premier caterer! Bid on an array of unique and valuable items at our silent auction as you listen to beautiful live music. During dessert, you will be the first to see a special presentation from our parish. We expect the evening to conclude at approximately 8:30 pm. The cost of the event is $180 per person. Trust Through Trials: A Divine Mercy Devotion

On Thursday, April 24 at Sacred Heart Church, Jeff Coon, Holy Family parishioner, will share how God has used his son Sam's battles with three life-threatening illnesses to transform their faith, family, and community. God pointed their family in a very direct way to the Divine Mercy devotion, and through that devotion, they have been able to overcome the fears, worries, and doubts that come with cancer and daily hardships. In this presentation, Jeff will share powerful examples of God's direct presence along the road of suffering and how God has led them step-by-step through their trials to a life filled with peace and gratitude. Join us for this talk and learn how God, through the Divine Mercy devotion, offers these same gifts and promises to all of us in every trial, big or small.

Diaconate Celebration for Redmond Tuttle

Join us as we celebrate the Ordination of our seminarian, Redmond Tuttle, to the Transitional Diaconate the weekend of April 26-27. Redmond will be ordained as a Transitional Deacon on the morning of Saturday, April 26. In celebration, he will preach at the 4:00 pm Saturday Mass, and 8:00 am and 10:00 am Sunday Mass at Holy Family Church. Receptions with treats and refreshments will follow each of these Mass.
