As the Catholic Church celebrates its Jubilee year in 2025, Chris Dudzinski will host a series of talks to help you learn more about the Jubilee and what it means for your life. On Monday, February 10 at 6:30 pm and Friday, February 14 at 12:45 pm (following the noon Mass) at Sacred Heart, Chris will discuss the meaning and history of the Jubilee. On Monday, February 17 at 6:30 pm and Friday, February 21 at 12:45 pm (following the noon Mass) at Sacred Heart, he will discuss what the Jubilee means to us in 2025.
From 9:00 to 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Hall on Saturday, February 22, take an amazing journey into scripture with Jesus to experience the “Wedding Feast at Cana.” This hands-on experience will include exploring the city of Cana, learning about the bible story and what it means for us, celebrating with an activity, making a craft, and having a snack. All families are invited, but this event is geared more towards those with children in grades K-5.
Are you struggling with grief? Holy Family will host “Grief Share,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. The group will meet Mondays, February 3 to April 28 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room. The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items. These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Dorothy, 920-238-0480, or Catherine, 920-539-0313 for pick up.
This is a Bible Study for looking at the upcoming Sunday Readings. Each week will use the investigations and comments of bible scholars to learn the significant insights in each set of Sunday readings. We will further discuss and share how these readings apply to us and add enrichment to our lives. A great way to prepare for Sunday Mass! Group limited to six participants. The group will meet Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:15 am in the Sacred Heart Church Hospitality Room. Every Tuesday at St. Mary Church, those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:30 to 5:30 pm - or until meals are gone. All who are in need are welcome.
