Encountering the Father's LoveSitting in an NFL locker room, Bart Schuchts had an encounter with God that changed his life forever. Now the founder of Church on Fire, and an associate of the JP II Healing Center, Schuchts will share his story of transformation through Christ when he speaks at Holy Family Church Hall on Wednesday, April 6 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Build

Volunteer to make beds for FDL area childrenNOTE: We are no longer in need of volunteers for this event as we have hit our capacity. If you would like to contribute to the build still, we are seeking new, clean twin bed sheets, twin comforters, and pillows. This bedding will be used by children ages 3-17. If you would like to donate, please bring your items to the Parish Office by Friday, April 8. We are in need of volunteers to help us build beds for children ages 3-17 in the Fond du Lac area at our Sleep in Heavenly Peace Build. The program has a goal of making sure that every child in the city has a bed to sleep in each night. Shifts are available from 4:00 to 6:30 pm on Friday, April 8, and from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 9 at Holy Family Church. Way of the Cross

Way of the Cross will be held March 4, 18, 25 & April 1, 8 at 6:00 pm at Holy Family; 7:00 pm at Holy Family in Spanish; and 7:00 pm at Our Risen Savior. On March 11, Way of the Cross will be held at St. Mary's instead of Holy Family.

Tenebrae Service

Join us at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13 as we join in prayer for the Tenebrae Service. During the service, we will listen to Readings, and watch as candles are gradually extinguished. This service is traditional for Holy Week, and takes place the Wednesday before Holy Thursday.   

Divine Mercy Sunday

Join us in celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family Church on Sunday, April 24. Silent Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place 2:00-3:00 pm; Reconciliation from 2:00-4:00 pm; and the Divine Mercy Holy Hour from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce the long lines, please try to go to reconciliation eight days before or after the feast day. The Hispanic community will begin the celebration Divine Mercy with Mass at 12:00 pm, at Holy Family,  followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Devine Mercy Holy Hour and Reconciliation. Silent adoration will take place from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Healing the Whole Person: Engaging Your Story

Healing the Whole Person: Engaging Your Story is an 8-week series thatprovides the framework for understanding and receiving Christ’s healing and peace in theheart of the Catholic Church. Using videos featuring Dr. Bob Schuchts & Sr. Miriam James Heidland presenting JohnPaul II Healing Center’s Healing the Whole Person teachings, each session includesa guided prayer experience and a workbook journaling activity for private reflection andprayer. Series also includes opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation andprayer with a prayer ministry team trained by the John Paul II Healing Center. Wherever you find yourself now is not the end of your story. God is here. God has morefor you. Engaging Your Story is time set aside for God to guide you through. Life Teen Informational Meeting

Holy Family Catholic Community will host an informational meeting for anyone interested in attending the Life Teen camp in late summer at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 1 in the Sacred Heart School Basement. High School students are invited to join Holy Family for a trip to the “best camp ever,” July 31-August 7, Life Teen Camp Covecrest. Camp Covecrest is Life Teen’s flagship summer camp. Nestled into the mountains of Northern Georgia, Covecrest provides a scenic place to experience life and encounter Christ. Besides ample activities at camp like a ropes course, human foosball, and wiffle ball stadium, teens have the opportunity to go whitewater rafting! Teens will also hear powerful talks from relatable, funny, and challenging hosts. Life Teen believes deeply in the power and grace of the Sacraments, and provides opportunities to experience God through the Sacraments, including many moments for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and daily Mass. Balance and Mobility Class

Please note: This class is now full and we are not taking anymore registrations. Mary Jo Neumann will help you gain strength and balance in her six-week Balance and Mobility Class. The function of balance and mobility training is to help a person feel safe when moving from place to place.  The class will take place from 10:00 to 10:30 am on Mondays, May 2, 16, 23 & June 6, 20, & 27 in Holy Family Hall.  Participants should be able to walk without assistive devices, such as canes, walkers, and wheel chairs. Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes recommend. Bring own water bottle.

Spring cleaning? Drop off good, sellable items on Sunday, May 1 from 12:00-4:00 pm or Monday, May 2 from 8:00 am-4:00 pm in the Sacred Heart Gym. Come back and shop for bargains on Tuesday, May 3 from 8:00 to 4:00 and Wednesday, May 4, $3 bag day, 8:00am-noon. We are always looking for volunteers to help sort donated items, especially on Sunday and Monday. Sale proceeds support those in need.  

Celebrate Holy Family Gala

We are excited to announce that our Celebrate Holy Family Gala Event will be held on Wednesday, May 4 at Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a wonderful gourmet dinner catered by Chef Jack’s, Wisconsin’s premier caterer! There will also be a silent auction and a fabulous musical ensemble that will play for your enjoyment. Dress is business attire and we are planning a special presentation reminiscing and celebrating Holy Family’s activities and events of the past year. We expect to conclude the night around 8:30 pm. The cost of the event is $150 per person; or a table of 8 people for $1,200. All reservations and payments must be received at the Holy Family Office by April 1, 2022.
